PREVENTING PLASTIC POLLUTION
On this short course you will learn about the sources and types of plastic pollution, including single-use plastics and micro-plastics, and explore alternative solutions and strategies for reducing plastic waste. We will develop practical actions to prevent plastic pollution and look at the simple things that we can all do to use products made form alternative materials. With engaging multimedia content and practical exercises this course is suitable for everybody who wants to make a positive impact on the environment. A great first climate certificate to add too your CV.

Understanding Carbon and climate CHaNge
The Understanding Carbon and Climate Change course is an introduction to GHG, how they create climate change and global warming. We introduce the concepts of Net-Zero, carbon footprints, carbon audits and decarbonisation. We explore examples of the simple things that we can all do to reduce emissions through a planned programme of decarbonisation. This is a great way to learn about the things that you can do to make a positive difference at home and at work to help protect the planet. Engaging digital learning and online assessment. Complete in two weeks and get your certificate in three weeks.

GREEN SKILLS AND SUSTAINABILITY
BECOME A CHAMPION OF SUSTAINABILITY
This course is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills to promote and support sustainability in the workplace. The course consists of eleven assessed units of study covering principles of sustainability, sustainable resource management, greening the office, legislation and regulations, sustainable transport, heat decarbonisation, sustainable construction, water management, sustainable food chains, supporting biodiversity, monitoring, reporting and evaluating sustainability initiatives. Digital learning, live ‘masterclasses’, seminar groups and tutorials. Online assessment and accreditation. This course leads to a nationally recognised qualification that could help you secure your first sustainability job role.
